First and foremost, I love helping businesses thrive.  Serving a dual role as General Manager/CFO in a multi-franchise automotive dealership, I have invested my career working in the trenches and doing just that.  My mentor in business advised me, “Be brilliant with the basics.” That advice has served me well and applies to much more than business. Most great things achieved in life and business happen because we do the small things consistently well.  There is no substitute for hard work.  But I love making hard work simpler, more efficient; making tomorrow’s tasks less taxing, allowing more time to focus on growth and further improvement.

I began my career working for a large CPA firm.  I later went to work for a client as the Controller.  When I was promoted to General Manager, I quickly realized that my strength in leading the company would be my roots in accounting, my passion for financial analysis, expense controls and efficient processes.  Those accounting roots served me well in my role as General Manager/CFO for many rewarding years.  I've had obstacles to overcome and faced challenges along the way, but I've used each challenge as opportunity to learn and grow. I've been blessed to have had outstanding business and personal mentors along the way. Their investment in me has allowed me the opportunity to now invest in the lives, careers and companies others.

Outside of work, I serve on the Board of Directors of two local charities.  A Heart For Kids is a tutoring/mentoring ministry serving underprivileged elementary age children and the Muncie Mission Ministries, which provides food, shelter and spiritual guidance to homeless men and women.
